The overall aim of the symposium ‘no policy without patients’ was:
  • to sketch the advocacy role of MM and WM patient organisations
  • to outline the future role these organisations could play in order to attain optimal care and to shape health policies and agendas according to patients’ needs and demands.

Het symposium ‘no policy without patients’ had tot doel:
  • te schetsen welke rol patiëntenorganisaties voor patiënten met MM en WM spelen bij de belangenbehartiging.
  • Daarnaast is aangegeven welke rol deze organisaties in de toekomst zouden kunnen spelen bij het leveren van optimale zorg en bij het aanpassen van beleid en agenda’s binnen de gezondheidszorg aan de behoeften en eisen van patiënten.
